Happy Belated Mothering Sunday to all you lovely Mums out there. I spent Mother’s Day chaperoning my eldest daughter through a days worth of dance rehearsals before her first ballet show next week so there wasn’t much chance for celebrations.
We did however have a treat for Mummy on Saturday when we went over to Ely for the day, to deliver our prop suitcase for a wedding at The Old Hall, and had a lovely meal with our children and my parents. This was followed by an obligatory trawl through the antiques centre where, inevitably, I fell in love with some china.
I’m not allowed any more china until I do a proper inventory of the stuff I’ve got! But on this occasion I got away with ‘Oh, but it’s Mothering Sunday tomorrow!’ and came home with this beautiful Colclough Tea Set in PINK! Doesn’t it look lovely with my Mothering Sunday present: “A Vintage Wedding” by Katie Fforde.
I recently had a bride contact me and ask for china for 75 people at her wedding. The catch was she wanted it all to be pink. After a bit of coughing a spluttering and a mental count up of the pink trios we own in my head I was able to tell her a resounding YES! Now look at all the more pink we have in stock.
